1928 / infantNatalia is rescued as an infant by Ivan Petrovich. During a conflict of the civil war, her mother was trapped in a burning building. The only things she had time to yell to Ivan was "Save Natalia! She's a Romanoff!" before she, and everyone else in the building were burned.
ChildhoodIvan enrolls her in government sanctioned programs to help raise her while he continues his life as a soldier in the KGB.
1938 / 10Ivan dies in the line of duty, leaving Natalia completely in the care of the government. She's brought into Department X where she's trained as a soldier while continuing her education.
1941 / 13She crosses paths with Logan, who was on an undercover mission within Dept. X, and he trains her for a bit.
1945 / 17trigger warning: teen prgnancy/abortion After becoming involved with a boy her age, Natalia ends up pregnant. Upon learning this, even thought she's young, she's excited to be a mother and names her unborn baby Rose. As soon as her handlers find out, though, she's forced to lose it and become sterilized.
1946 / 18Natalia becomes 1 of 28 recruits for the new Black Widow Ops program. She begins training under the Winter Soldier and years later becomes his partner on covert operations. This is the time she's given a serum similar to the super soldier serum. Rather than enhanced strength, it slows down her aging process drastically and speeds up her healing time.
1960s / 30sRed Room scientist, Dr. Rodchenko, perfected a memory altering procedure that was used on the Black Widows. This gave Natasha the memories of an alternate life, making her believe that she was a ballerina in the Bolshoi, knowing nothing of her spy life until her handlers would activate her for specific missions.
1995 / 67She begins to question her life. The Red Room decides to rewrite her story by implanting false memories of her being born in 1984 and living as a kid to be a cover story in America with Alexi/Melina/Yelena【full post here】
1998 / 70Clint Barton of SHIELD is assigned to assassinate her, but takes mercy on her and instead devises a way to get her out of Russia. She then joins SHIELD.
